About the Grower
I'm Will Ratcliff, a professor of evolutionary biology at Georgia Tech, where my lab studies the evolution of multicellular life. Outside the lab, I grow carnivorous plants with my kids — it's a hobby that sits at the intersection of science, obsession, and a genuine love of weird biology.
I particularly enjoy experimenting with ways to overcome the bottlenecks to fertilization and tinkering with methods to get optimal growth and vigor out of these plants.
